stint on the famous Rick & Thel Road-show some years back and he has now fulfilled his dream of recording several of the hit songs he is renowned for singing augmented by worthy self-penned original songs. John has been involved in the music industry for over four decades starting with bands in Adelaide, while still attending college and then criss-crossing Australia as part of Country Music Shows and as a ‘one-man’ entertainer. A stop-over in Tamworth in 1981 saw John receive an award as a finalist in the annual Star Maker Quest. Over the years John travelled along many dusty roads driven by the desire. feel like his work here has finished yet. He still feels that he continues to

offer something to country music. It may be another album or just helping young

country artists get a start in the business. He has a daughter Melody, who is

already a fine young artist who has just released an EP entitled “Heart To

Heart Talk”. Alby feels blessed that he has met and made a lot of good and

lasting friendships in country music and hopes to continue to do so.
